✅ The Storage Fees report returns the estimated monthly storage fee per ASIN along with every input Amazon uses to calculate it: dimensions, weight, volume, size tier, and storage rate.
✅ Storage discount eligibility is included so you can see which ASINs qualify for reduced storage fees and whether they are receiving the discount.
✅ Storage utilization ratio and surcharge rate are included where Amazon returns them, giving you visibility into fee calculations that vary by utilization level.
The Amazon FBA Storage Fees report returns the estimated monthly storage fee for each ASIN along with every input Amazon uses in the calculation: product dimensions, weight, volume, size tier, storage rate, and utilization-based surcharges. Use this data to verify that Amazon's fee calculation matches your product specifications and to identify which ASINs are your highest storage cost items.
Storage fee verification. longest_side, median_side, shortest_side, weight, and product_size_tier are the inputs Amazon used when calculating your fee. Comparing these against your actual product specifications shows whether Amazon has the right measurements on record. A miscategorized size tier is a direct billing error.
Highest storage cost identification. estimated_monthly_storage_fee per ASIN lets you rank your inventory by storage cost. The ASINs at the top of that list are your first candidates for sell-through acceleration, removal, or repricing.
Discount eligibility audit. eligible_for_inventory_discount and qualifies_for_inventory_discount show whether each ASIN can receive a storage discount and whether it is actually receiving it. An ASIN that is eligible but not qualifying may have an inventory health issue blocking the discount.
Utilization surcharge monitoring. StorageUtilizationRatio and UtilizationSurchargeRate show whether Amazon is applying a surcharge based on your storage utilization level. If your utilization ratio is elevated, this is the data that explains why your storage fees are higher than the base rate.
Dangerous goods classification check. dangerous_goods_storage_type shows how Amazon has classified each ASIN for hazmat storage. An incorrect classification can result in higher fees or fulfillment restrictions.
